Paulinus Singers celebrate the return of live music with a concert at St John’s Sharow Saturday 5th March 2022 at 7:30 pm

As a result of Covid-19 we have had a long break from singing.  We were very fortunate to have been able to stage our last concert on the 29th February 2020, but we all have missed producing live music. On Saturday 5th March 2022 we very much look forward to, our return to St John’s Sharow.

Sit on comfortable, well-spaced chairs in a quiet church and listen to choral music from a tradition stretching back 500 years.

The programme will be conducted by Sam Gardner:
  • They are at rest – Elgar
  • The Lamb – Tavener
  • O quam gloriosum – Victoria
  • Exsultate justi – Viadana
  • Laudibus in Sanctis – Byrd
  • Almighty and everlasting God – Gibbons
  • Christus factus est – Bruckner
  • O salutaris hostia – Rossini
  • My soul, there is a country – Parry
  • Linden Lea – Vaughan Williams
  • My spirit sang all day – Finzi
  • Name that tune – Grayston Ives
  • Lets do it – Cole Porter arranged Blackwell
  • Three minute Messiah – Gritton

Seating will be limited to maintain comfortable distances, so we encourage you to buy tickets (£10) in advance by clicking here. Unsold tickets will be available at the door.
